Operational Support

You do not have a technology team. What happens when it breaks?

Underground concrete tunnel with arched supports.

Most growing businesses are working towards, or now run on, connected systems, automated workflows, and increasingly AI agents. Very few have anyone whose job is to keep all of it running. It works until an integration silently stops syncing, an automation breaks after a tool updates, or an agent starts behaving in a way no one notices for weeks.

Operational support for growing businesses fills that gap. We keep the operational engine running after it has been built, so what was installed keeps working as the business changes around it.

Do these problems sound familiar?

  • Automations that used to run reliably now break, and no one knows why

  • Systems that were connected have quietly stopped talking to each other

  • You switched on AI or an agent months ago and no one is watching it

  • Something breaks and there is no one whose job it is to fix it

  • Nobody can say for certain whether everything is running as it should

What is operational support?

Operational support keeps the systems, automations, and AI agents that run a business working after they are built: monitoring that they behave, fixing what breaks, adjusting as tools and processes change, and keeping documentation current. It is support for the operational layer of the business, not for laptops, phones, or networks.

The work covers three areas. Most clients need some of the first, and more of the others as they automate further.

  • Keep the business systems running. The accounting, workspace, database, and other core systems your operation depends on, kept connected and working together.

  • Keep the automations and connections running. When a tool changes or a process shifts, automations and the connections between systems break quietly. We fix them, adjust them as the business changes, and keep the documentation current.

  • Keep the AI and agents running, governed. The most advanced area and the fastest-growing. We watch how agents are performing, catch drift before it causes damage, hold the checkpoints where a human stays in control, and step in when an agent stops doing its job properly.

Across all three, we watch that things are running and behaving, check the operation is accurate and sound, and keep an eye on the running costs of what we maintain.

How this engagement works

  1. If we built it, support carries on from handover. We already know how it works.

  2. If someone else built it, or it grew without anyone owning it, we review what you have first, so we understand it before we stand behind it. We only support what we can support properly.

  3. We agree what we keep running and what we watch for, scoped to your operation.

  4. We keep it running as the business changes, and tell you when something needs attention before it becomes a problem.

What changes with someone watching

Breakages get caught before the work backs up. Automations keep pace as the business and its tools change. The AI you switched on months ago has someone checking it is still doing its job. And when something does need attention, you hear about it from us before it becomes a problem, instead of discovering it from a customer.

Support is scoped to what you are running in your business and priced on that basis.
